This has not yet been confirmed by the NFL, but if it happens it will mark the first time since 1975 that the Rams have played on Thanksgiving. They defeated the Detroit Lions 20-0 in that game, clinching the NFC West championship. They'll hope for similar success this time around, but the Buccaneers should be a tough opponent.

The Rams getting a game of this caliber would show that the NFL believes they will be a legitimate contender in the NFC this year. L.A. has one of the most complete rosters in the league and is all-in on getting back to the Super Bowl after winning it four years ago.

The Rams have a 19-10 record all-time against the Bucs, including the playoffs. The two teams last met in 2022, with Tampa Bay edging out L.A. 16-13. Their 2025 Thanksgiving game could have huge playoff implications, and they could meet again during the postseason.

One game that is already confirmed for the Rams is their Week 7 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, England. The rest of the Rams' schedule will be released later today. It seems likely that they will get multiple primetime games, and keep an eye out for Saturday games late in the season.
