The Philadelphia Eagles had six players earn Pro Bowl nods this year including, linebacker Zack Baun, running back Saquon Barkley, center Cam Jurgens, right tackle Lane Johnson, left guard Landon Dickerson, and defensive tackle Jalen Carter.

While they all had a spectacular regular season and played a major role in helping the Eagles lock in the No. 2 seed in the playoffs, Baun is the name on the Pro Bowl list that stands out the most.

That's because it's Baun's first Pro Bowl after five years in the league.

Baun, a former third-round pick by the New Orleans Saints in the 2020 NFL Draft, spent his first four years in Nola playing primarily on special teams.

And then Baun came to Philly where defensive coordinator Vic Fangio noticed his potential as an off-ball linebacker and he immediately became a star.

In 16 starts for the Birds this season, Baun racked up 3.5 sacks, one interception, four pass breakups, five forced fumbles, 11 tackles for loss, five quarterback hits, and 151 total tackles.

Per PFF, Baun’s current 90.1 overall grade ranks first among all NFL linebackers while his career-high 151 tackles rank third. He is also the only NFL player since 1999 to post 150 or more tackles and 5 or more forced fumbles in a single season.

As if things couldn't get any better for Baun, he also received a nice $500,000 incentive for his first Pro Bowl selection.

The Eagles have four players listed as first alternates for the Pro Bowl Games: wide receiver A.J. Brown, left tackle Jordan Mailata, rookie cornerback Quinyon Mitchell, and defensive end Josh Sweat
