One of the best things that happened to the Tennessee Vols over the offseason was the news that longtime Tennessee Titans play-by-play man Mike Keith will take over as the "Voice of the Vols" following Bob Kesling's retirement later this spring.

Keith, who served as the Voice of the Titans from 1999 to 2024, is of course no stranger to the Vols.

The longtime radio play-by-play man graduated from Tennessee nearly 40 years ago. Keith also spent a decade working alongside legendary former Voice of the Vols John Ward before leaving Knoxville for Nashville.

On Tuesday, Keith tweeted a photo of himself beside former Vols football coach Johnny Majors that shows just how far back Keith goes with Tennessee athletics.

Keith has orange blood coursing through his veins. Combine that with the fact that he has one of the best voices in radio and there's no doubt that he's the absolute perfect choice to take over for Kesling.
