The coming week will be intriguing for the New Orleans Saints. They could have their new head coach by Sunday night. Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore is the clear favorite for the job.

New Orleans has already let other candidate know that they won't make a hire until after the big game. That was a nod to Moore, seemingly.

During media availability this week ahead of the Super Bowl, Moore was asked about multiple aspects of the Saints franchise, including where they play and their support during games.

Kellen Moore talks Superdome

When asked about playing in New Orleans, the current Eagles OC and expected next head coach for the Saints kept it short and sweet.

“It’s a tough place to play, I like it.” – Moore on the Caesars Superdome

You can tell that Moore can feel the impending outcome that many around the NFL expect. He seems excited and confident about the job that he may land with the Saints.

The young offensive mind is ready to take the next step in his career.

“I was fortunate to go to Los Angeles and come to Philadelphia and grow. Each and every stop you’re around a bunch of different people that you haven’t been around stylistically.

The way you lead, it’s all different each and every stop you go. And so I’ve been fortunate to be around some great people, team up with them, and continue to evolve and prepare myself.”

“Lead your way. I think as long as you’re authentic and you’re real and you’re consistent with who you are, guys will respect that.”

His Eagles offense will have a tall task this weekend, against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX. Once that concludes, we'll see if he lands in black and gold in the near future.
