Noah Brown has certainly made a name for himself during his first season with the Washington Commanders, but his season is likely over after suffering an "internal" injury in Week 13 against the Tennessee Titans.

"Tough news on Noah, he's going to be out for a while," Commanders head coach Dan Quinn told reporters on Wednesday. "He had a significant internal injury from the game, and so that's going to knock him out for a while. We love him and his play style, the identity of how he goes, and so that would hurt. He's been absolutely one of our glue guys. And after the game, or during the game between him and the medical staff, they did a really good job to address what was a serious injury. And fortunately, he's going to be okay, but it's going to knock him out for a bit."

When asked if the injury is season-ending, Quinn said the team will visit that later in the week but it's "likely heading that way".

Brown's top moment as a Commander is obviously his Hail Mary catch against the Bears earlier in the year. He's done a good job of filling as WR2 on the team and the stat sheet reflects that. He's currently third in both receptions (35) and yards (453) behind top wideout Terry McLaurin and starting tight end Zach Ertz.

In the big picture, an already thin receiving room just got a lot thinner. McLaurin has been out of this world and is on pace for a career year, but it's been really inconsistent behind him. Now, it's likely Daniels and co. are going to have to lean on the running game even more as the team barrels through the final month of the regular season.
