Steelers Week 14 Injury Report (WED)

Observations

  • Calvin Austin III: After suffering a concussion against the Cincinnati Bengals, and missing the end of the game, Austin was placed into the protocol. His limited availability is an encouraging sign for a player that has come to life in the third year of his Steelers tenure
  • Cory Trice Jr.: Trice has up until tomorrow to be activated off the injured reserve, as Thursday will make day 21 of his 21-day practice window. If the Steelers don't feel he's ready despite his full practice participation, he will be out for the season
  • Alex Highsmith: Highsmith said that he's feeling better and Coach Tomlin told the media on Tuesday that he expected Highsmith to be ready for Sunday, but you would like to see him log a full participation before feeling strongly about his availability
  • Montravius Adams: Adams could also make his return this week, with Coach Tomlin saying practice participation will be the team's guide for his return
