Things couldn't be much worse for the LSU Tigers and Brian Kelly right now.

On Thursday afternoon, the Tigers saw prized recruit five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood flip his commitment to the Michigan Wolverines just days after reports surfaced that he was planning to enroll in December.

It's just the latest instance where Kelly has failed in recruiting the quarterback position, something our Notre Dame expert Ryan Roberts wrote about.

With Underwood leaving, there was immediate fear that others could be on the way out. As we are seeing at Florida with DJ Lagway, players are willing to flock to a star quarterback. The inverse is starting to happen for the Tigers.

Shortly after Underwood announced his commitment to Michigan, four-star wide receiver Derek Meadows received an expert prediction from Steve Wiltfong to flip to Michigan.

Shortly after that, Wiltfong reported that Alabama was looking to get into the mix.

There are already some who are calling for Kelly to be fired as the Tigers' head coach and it's hard to blame them. They were sold that the 2025 recruiting class was going to be great with Underwood at the top and it's starting to unravel on them.

The Tigers dropped from third to sixth in On3's recruiting rankings and it could get worse before it gets better.
