There has been a lot of talk about where recently waived Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is going to land since the news dropped last week. Fox Sports' NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported on Saturday that the Lions were one of the teams that have interest in bringing in Jones.

There's been some speculation since then on how big that interest is or if it's even real. Lions head coach Dan Campbell hinted on Tuesday that it definitely is real, but how far they'll go with it is another question altogether.

"We haven't really talked about that. I mean, the names come up, but it's not like we sat down and talked. So I don't want to give you a yes or no."

So there you go, Daniel Jones name has come up. While that doesn't mean that the team is going to act on it and we know they haven't had a full fledged conversation, it's fair to say his name coming up at all is showing some interest and that there's at least been some small talk about the idea.

I mean how else would his name come up? Is Brad Holmes walking through Allen Park screaming "Daniel Jones!!" like Kendrick Lamar is screaming "Mustard" on his latest album? I highly doubt that. What is way more likely is that there's been some introductory type conversation ahead someone in Detroit going to do a little digging on it.

We'll see where things go probably as early as next week. The Lions are far from the only team interested in him. There's some good reasons for that.
