Brian Flores wants to be a head coach again

It's not just that Flores has the skillset to be a head coach, he would love to do it again. He spoke with Adam Schefter on his podcast about that.

"It would have to be the right opportunity, but, yes, I would love to be a head coach again."

Flores received interviews in the 2023 coaching cycle with the Arizona Cardinals but chose the Vikings, believing it to be a better opportunity. Another element about him taking a head coaching opportunity is that Flores' family loves it here and that could be an element which keeps Flores in Minnesota for awhile.

The other factor here is Flores has an open lawsuit with the NFL on their hiring process. How many owners will be willing to hire the person suing them to be their head coach. A lot of different factors at play here, but it's no surprise that Flores wants to get back to being a head coach.
