The Pittsburgh Steelers put the Atlanta Falcons in the rearview on Tuesday, with Coach Tomlin giving his weekly address as the team prepares for the Denver Broncos.

The big news was that QB Russell Wilson will start the week in a disadvantageous position

But what may have been lost in the shuffle was what Mike Tomlin mentioned about starting LT Dan Moore Jr. and rookie Troy Fautanu:

Dan Moore Jr. Dealing With Ankle Injury

"Dan Moore had an ankle that swelled up on him yesterday that may limit him in the early portions of the week. We'll see where that leads us," said Coach Tomlin on Tuesday.

Fautanu was active against the Falcons on Sunday, but the team stuck with Broderick Jones at RT and Dan Moore Jr. at LT. And while that's probably their intention for as long as possible. An injury to Dan Moore throws a wrench in all of that.

It should be noted that Fautanu for Moore is not a one-to-one swap. The most likely scenario for the Steelers would be a world where Broderick Jones replaces Moore at LT and Fautanu goes to RT.

Almost like, you know, the plan the team has had since April when Fautanu went 20th overall…

Asked of Fautanu and his status following an injury of his own, as well as the starting battle he was in before said MCL sprain, here's what Coach T said:

"It's more difficult, but we have a commitment to continue it because we liked what we saw from him during team development, said Tomlin when asked about restarting the tackle battle as Fautnau returns to health. "He's deserving of that. His talents are deserving of that. We'll balance that the best we can…

"…I don't know what that means, but he's practicing," said Coach T when asked if Fautanu would be a full participant this week.
