Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is continuing to receive recognition for his standout 2023 season.

Jackson was named to the 2023 AP First-Team All-Pro roster on Friday. He received 45 out of 50 first-place votes.

The Ravens' official X account shared on Friday a video of team general manager Eric DeCosta surprising Jackson with the news that he made the First-Team All-Pro roster for the second time in his career.

"I got something to tell you," DeCosta said. "You made AP First-Team All-Pro. Congrats, best quarterback in the league."

Jackson, who was being interviewed by Ravens team media at the time, was left in awe of the news.

"That’s crazy," Jackson said. "I appreciate that."

Jackson was on top of his game in regular season play, logging 4,499 total yards and 29 total touchdowns over 16 games played. He also led Baltimore to its first AFC North title in four seasons.

Jackson is well expected to win the 2023 NFL MVP award next month. He last took home the honor back in the 2019 season.
