The final terms of the Baltimore Ravens’ trade for Jacoby Brissett just dropped
The Baltimore Ravens have finalized their trade for QB Jacoby Brissett…so how did they do?
The Baltimore Ravens‘ 2026 season now teeters on the brink. An ugly loss on Thursday Night Football to the Jacksonville Jaguars has dropped the Ravens below .500 for the first time this season.
The schedule softens a bit between now at the team’s Week 13 bye. But the road to the postseason? It’s getting steep, fast. Baltimore now turns to QB Jacoby Brissett to save the season. That’s been known for days — but what we haven’t known is the full terms of the deal. Until now.
We now know the full terms of the Baltimore Ravens’ trade for QB Jacoby Brissett
All things considered, Baltimore did pretty well here to salvage this. Brissett probably isn’t even as good of a fit as Tyler Huntley behind center for this Ravens offense. His style of play doesn’t mirror Jackson in the way that Huntley does. But the experience and ability to run an NFL offense provides a glimmer of hope that this season won’t go completely off the rails.
Should Brissett keep Baltimore competitive this season, the downgrade from a 4th-round pick to Arizona’s 5th-round pick could end up being a difference of somewhere between 15-20 picks. Outside the top-100? That’s a fairly reasonable deal. Yes, Baltimore also slid a 7th-round draft pick over as a part of the package — but that should be fairly easily recouped.
Full disclosure, not everyone agrees with me. The A to Z Sports trade simulator indicates the Cardinals came out on the plus side of this deal by a fair margin.

If the Baltimore Ravens end up stumbling to the finish line this season and the Arizona Cardinals stack some more wins, this has the potential to be true. So in all honesty, the true outcome of the trade lies in the hands of the Baltimore Ravens’ final 8 games. And, ironically enough, the man who was a part of the deal.
Brissett will help determine who wins this deal once and for all.
