The national sports media outlet made their early predictions for the 2024 12-team playoff and they think Golesh will lead USF to their first playoff appearance next season.

He out-recruited every other Group of Five program in the 2024 cycle and with reigning conference champion SMU moving on to the ACC and questions around Tulane following Willie Fritz's departure to Houston, that strong league is wide open.
Golesh just completed his first season as the head coach at USF after spending two seasons as Tennessee's offensive coordinator.
USF went 7-6 in Golesh's first season, which was extremely impressive considering the Bulls went 1-11 the year before Golesh's arrival in Tampa.
