Lamar Jackson put on an MVP-caliber performance on Sunday in the Baltimore Ravens' win over the Houston Texans in the divisional round.

However, he made one mistake early in the game, but thanks to one of his teammates, that was quickly remedied.

Early in the game, Jackson aimed to connected with tight end Isaiah Likely, but the pass was nearly picked off by safety Jalen Pitre in the end zone. Yet, Pitre couldn't hold on to the ball and it resulted in an incomplete pass.

Following the throw, Likely pointed his finger upwards, signaling to Jackson that he should throw the ball higher next time.

And when the opportunity arose once again later in the game, Jackson did not make the same mistake.

He threw the ball high for Likely and the tight end caught it right over the head of Texans cornerback Derek Stingley Jr..

"I mean the receivers call for the ball, the tight ends call for the ball when they feel like they got someone beat. So that's all he was doing," Jackson said after the game. "I just had to place the ball at his back shoulder because he was undercut and he went up and made a great catch. And the rest is history."

Following the touchdown, Jackson ran over to Likely in the end zone and the two jumped up and celebrated together.

Hopefully the connection between Jackson and Likely will continue into the AFC Championship.
