Lamar Jackson put the Baltimore Ravens on his back in the AFC divisional round.
Jackson orchestrated a top-class showing against the Houston Texans on Saturday. He anchored a total of six scoring drives on the day, including two that culminated in the sixth-year passer scoring a rushing touchdown.
Jackson is not jumping for joy at the fact that he will play in the AFC title game for the first time in his career. As Ravens linebacker Patrick Queen touched on after the game, Jackson is not content with winning just one playoff game this year.
"He isn't done yet," Queen said during his postgame press conference. "He has a lot left to prove. He wants to prove that. That’s why he’s so hungry. That’s why you can see it in his eyes. You can see it in the way he talks, the way he’s acting right now. He has a lot to prove, and he’s going to prove that."
What is next for the Ravens?
Jackson will have a golden opportunity to silence critics in this season's AFC title game. Baltimore is set to meet the winner of the upcoming AFC divisional round matchup between the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Overall, Jackson has tallied 33 total touchdowns over 17 games played this season, including the playoffs.
