Indianapolis Colts running back Evan Hull (26) warms up before facing the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

The Indianapolis Colts RB situation took another hit today.

As the Indianapolis Colts placed rookie Evan Hull on IR, which means he will have to miss at least the next four games.

The drive in which Hull got hurt, the team seemed to have given him the keys to the RB spot after not being used at all prior to that. He was able to haul in a catch and pick up the biggest run of the day at that point, though a penalty negated it. And on the same play, Hull could be seen grabbing his knee before heading to the sideline, and his day would be over.

Now the Colts will have to wait at least four weeks to see Hull again, which could twist the team's arm to make a move at RB after Deon Jackson's poor performance in the season opener.
