Dorian Thompson-Robinson made his first start in the NFL in the Cleveland Browns’ home matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. With Deshaun Watson ruled out for the contest due to a shoulder injury, Thompson-Robinson was called on to anchor Cleveland’s offense in Week 4.

Thompson-Robinson did not have much to go his way against Baltimore’s well-rounded defense. The former UCLA standout threw three interceptions and posted a lowly 25.3 passer rating on Sunday. He was also sacked four times and hit a total of eight times.

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson had his own fair share of sluggish outings during his rookie season. As he did after multiple such performances, Jackson hopes that Thompson-Robinson will come away with learning lessons from his overall showing on the day.

"That’s the NFL," Jackson said during his postgame press conference. "Things like that are going to happen. We don’t want them to happen, and he faced a great defense for his first start. [I’d tell him to] just keep being locked in [and] keep watching film.

"The sky is the limit for him because he’s a pretty good quarterback. It was his first NFL game besides preseason, so it’s different. The atmosphere is very different."

The Browns have their bye week coming up next, so it is quite likely that Watson will be under center when Cleveland returns to action in Week 6 against the San Francisco 49ers.

Cleveland currently sits in third place in the AFC North standings with a 2-2 record.
