Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is on track to once again shatter a notable record.

Jackson led the way in the air and on the ground in the Ravens’ home win over the Los Angeles Rams. He threw for 316 yards and logged a team-high 70 rushing yards in the contest. It was the fifth time this year that Jackson led the Ravens in rushing yards.

According to NFL Communications, Jackson has led his team in rushing yards a total of 36 times in his career, which is tied with Randall Cunningham for the second-most such games by a quarterback in the Super Bowl era. Cam Newton sits atop this leaderboard with 42 such games.

Jackson will not have an opportunity to break Newton’s record this year, as the Ravens have a mere four contests left on their regular season schedule. Still, the two-time Pro Bowler has what it takes to become the new holder of this record next season.

Jackson and the Ravens currently have their sights set on a crucial road matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars coming up in Week 15.
