The Baltimore Ravens have ruled Zay Flowers as active and Marlon Humphrey as inactive for their road matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, the team announced on Sunday.
Flowers was issued a game status designation of questionable for Week 12 due to his hip injury. There was some worry over Flowers' status against the Chargers after he missed practice on Thursday because of his nagging ailment. He did make his return to practice on Friday, where he was a limited participant on the day.
Flowers later downplayed concerns regarding his hip injury.
"I feel good, I’m ready to go," Flowers said after practice on Friday. "I feel great."
Humphrey has been nursing a non-contact calf injury suffered during Baltimore’s home loss to the Cleveland Browns. He returned to practice on Wednesday, and he went on to be limited in practice all week. In the end, Baltimore opted to take the conservative route by sidelining him on Sunday.
With Humphrey ruled out against the Chargers, defensive back Brandon Stephens is slated to get the nod to cover wide receiver Keenan Allen in the contest.
