This change is is one thing that New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick continues to mistake ahead of their Week 13 matchup.
Speaking with the media on Wednesday morning, Belichick typically begins by speaking about what he's seen from the team they are competing against. And this time was no different.
"San Diego…" Belichick began, but then stopped and apologized with a smile on his face.
"I'll probably make that mistake a few times this week," he added.
The Chargers were in San Diego for 56 years before relocating, so it makes sense why Belichick would make this minor mistake.
And I'm sure he's not the only one.
The Patriots will host the Chargers at Gillette Stadium on Sunday at 1 p.m. for an AFC matchup.
Hopefully by then he will be used to saying Los Angeles.
