The Baltimore Ravens have punched their ticket to this season’s NFL playoffs.
The Ravens entered their road matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars in need of a win to officially clinch a playoff berth, which was made possible thanks to losses from both the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Denver Broncos on Saturday.
In the end, the Ravens took care of business with a 23-7 victory over the Jaguars. Baltimore’s rush offense led the way in the contest, as it tallied 251 rushing yards on a 6.0 yards per rush attempt average.
The Ravens will play in the postseason for the 11th time in the John Harbaugh era. They also clinched an 11-win campaign for the sixth time under Harbaugh.
The Ravens are well in the driver’s seat to soon clinch both the AFC North and the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Baltimore holds a 2.0-game lead over the Cleveland Browns for the top spot in the AFC North, and overall, it sits atop the conference standings with an 11-3 record.
The Ravens will now turn their attention to a pivotal road clash with the San Francisco 49ers coming up in Week 16.
