Lamar Jackson was on top of his game in the Baltimore Ravens’ 56-19 win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 18.
Jackson anchored a seven-play, 75-yard touchdown drive on the Ravens’ first possession on offense in the contest — and he did not look back from there. Jackson went on to lead the Ravens offense to a total of seven scoring drives against the current AFC East leaders, with five of them culminating in the sixth-year passer throwing a touchdown pass.
Among them, Jackson connected with fullback Patrick Ricard for a 4-yard touchdown during the fourth quarter.
Jackson filled up the stat sheet against the Dolphins, recording 321 passing yards, five touchdown passes, and a 158.3 passer rating. As noted by the NFL on CBS’ official account on X, formerly known as Twitter, Jackson became the fifth qualified quarterback in NFL history to log at least three games with a 158.3 passer rating, joining the likes of Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.
Jackson notched two games with a perfect passer rating in his NFL MVP-winning campaign back in the 2019 season, including one in the Ravens’ 59-10 statement road win over the Dolphins.
Barring a major surprise, Jackson should go on to win the NFL MVP award for the second time in his career.
