Chants of "MVP" were ringing throughout the Baltimore Ravens’ home win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Ravens fans at M&T Bank Stadium chanted "MVP" even louder after Lamar Jackson found Patrick Ricard for a 4-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter of the contest.

This was the fifth passing touchdown of Jackson’s performance on the day.

After the game, CBS Sports’ Evan Washburn asked Jackson just what he thought about the "MVP" chants that he received during the contest, and he kept it simple with his response.

"I appreciate that, that’s all," Jackson said.

Will Jackson win the NFL MVP award?

Jackson entered the Ravens’ matchup against the Dolphins as the betting favorite to win the 2023 NFL MVP honor, and he may very well have secured the award win on Sunday. From the five touchdown passes thrown to the perfect 158.3 passer rating logged, the two-time Pro Bowler put on a clinic against the current AFC East leaders.

Jackson has recorded 29 total touchdowns and a 102.7 passer rating through 16 games played this season.
