After missing two games because of a back issue, Green Bay Packers All-Pro cornerback Jaire Alexander is expected to play against the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football, according to a report from The Athletic's Matt Schneidman.
This is a particularly important development after it has been reported that Raiders star receiver and Packers old friend Davante Adams will also be available to play in Las Vegas.
Jaire was a limited participant on Packers practices throughout the week, and is officially listed as questionable for the game.
Other question marks
The Packers have three more players listed as questionable to play versus the Raiders, and one of them is another cornerback: Eric Stokes has been designated to return from PUP, but he hasn't been activated to the 53-man roster yet. The Packers can execute the move today if he is able to play.
Safety Rudy Ford is also questionable with an oblique injury. Running back Aaron Jones is questionable with a hamstriung injury, but he's expected to play without limitations after being on a pitch count against the Detroit Lions.
Off-ball linebacker De'Vondre Campbell is still out with an ankle injury. Safety Zayne Anderson is out with a hamstring issue — he hasn't played for the Packers yet, and don't be surprised if he's placed on IR in the case Stokes needs to be activated.
Where will the Packers play Eric Stokes when he’s back?
