Odell Beckham Jr. returned to action in the Baltimore Ravens’ Week 5 road game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Beckham was sidelined from the Ravens’ previous two games due to an ankle injury sustained in the Week 2 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. He was limited in practice all last week, and the team ended up listing him as questionable for Week 5. He ultimately received the green light to play against the Steelers after suffering no setbacks with his injury.
Beckham played in 53 percent of Baltimore’s snap on offense against Pittsburgh, and he hauled in two catches for 13 receiving yards during his time on the field. There was some concern that he suffered a setback with his ankle ailment during the second quarter of the contest. He made his way over to the locker room after completing a 6-yard catch. However, he did later return to the divisional matchup.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh noted during a press conference on Wednesday that Beckham is still nursing his nagging ankle ailment.
"He's feeling it just a little bit, it's a soft tissue type of a situation but he should be fine," Harbaugh said.
The attention now turns to whether Beckham will end up featuring in the Ravens’ upcoming Week 6 matchup against the Tennessee Titans.
Beckham, who signed a one-year deal with Baltimore in the offseason, has tallied six receptions for 72 receiving yards in three games played so far this season.
