The Detroit Lions have had a lot of tough injuries in one area and that's with the undrafted players that are showing up and having good camps and have the best chance to make the Lions' 53-man roster.

The team has already lost Nate Lynn, Connor Galvin and DaRon Gilbert, Now they're losing Morice Norris. Perhaps the guy that had the best shot out of all of these players to make the roster. He's been doing so well in camp and it looked like the versatility was going to help him get over. Now he's been waived by the Lions with an injury.

With all the injuries in the cornerback room, the Lions need to get some bodies out there for Saturday's game. The team signed Essang Bassey on Tuesday. On Wednesday they're signing Javelin Guidry.

Guidry went undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft. He's spent time with the Jets, Cardinals, Raiders, Eagles and Falcons. Most recently he was with the Jets at training camp last season until he suffered an injury and was put on injured reserve.

Guidry has played 32 regular season games and started five of them. All with the Jets.
