Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown has had a big offseason so far. The biggest part of course being that he pulled down a big extension that made him the league's highest paid receiver for a like a week.
That's not all he has going on though, Adidas is getting into the St. Brown fun too. They've been with St. Brown since he was drafted, but now he's becoming a bigger part of their ad campaigns. On Monday he was featured in their commercial for their new adizero Impact Speed Juice cleats. Here's the commercial and a shot from their campaign:
One of the cool things about this is that they shot it in Detroit. The other cool thing is that you have to love the blue, silver and white shoes. They really pop.
St. Brown is obviously not the first Lions receiver to be featured in a commercial for shoes. Calvin Johnson had the Unleash Speed campaign with Nike that would up with him having his own line of shoes and Herman Moore had an infamous Reebok commercial with Don Cornelius from Soul Train in the 90's.
When will we see St. Brown in a commercial again and will it also feature a host from Soul Train? Don has sadly passed, but Shemar Moore might be available.
