The New Orleans Saints have some legit talent at the wide receiver position. Under new OC Klint Kubiak, we will see how they develop in 2024.

Regardless, the Saints have tough choices to make as far as their receiver depth goes. Some of the spots are cemented. Some are not.

Projecting which Saints will be on the roster to start the season

The Saints have a top three that are locked in to making the roster. Past that, position battles will determine the rest of the WR depth chart.

Chris Olave

Olave headlines the group. He will look to improve upon his dynamic first two seasons in black and gold. He could emerge as a top ten receiver in the NFL in 2024.

Rashid Shaheed

A former gadget-type of player, Shaheed is now a key piece of the offense. He is a solid receiver that is also one of the top returners in football.

A.T. Perry

Perry had some dazzling downfield plays in 2023 and looks to become more consistent in 2024. He knows the system and deserves another chance on the roster.

Bub Means*

Means is another big-body option who the Saints are excited about so far. He was a day three pick, but I think he will absolutely make the roster if he continues to impress during training camp.

Cedrick Wilson Jr.

Wilson is the best free agent wideout they grabbed during this offseason. He provides upside as a depth target and on special teams. I'd expect him to have a role in 2024.

Jermaine Jackson*

Here's my wildcard. Jackson was a great returner in college and could step in alongside Shaheed as a special teams piece. He's a small receiver who could be used in a gadget role under Klint Kubiak.
