The New Orleans Saints have certainly stirred the pot this offseason. Amid offensive staff changes, the Saints also drafted a rookie quarterback on day three. Spencer Rattler joins the QB room in New Orleans, and his physical tools are quite appealing for a fifth-round selection.
There's no secret that Derek Carr is this year's starter for the black and gold, and he could be the main guy for the foreseeable future. That remains to be seen. Regardless, it's intriguing to have another young option waiting in the wings for the Saints.
The NFLPA released a hype video for Rattler
Rattler is a former top-tier high school recruit that showed flashes of brilliance throughout his college days. He's got a ways to go in terms of processing to an NFL level, but the Saints are not rushing him to that point, anyway.
