Unless you've been living under a rock, you probably know that the college football video game series returned this summer after ten years with the release of College Football 25.
The best way to celebrate is by rebuilding a struggling program into a college football juggernaut. Here are five schools that you are bound to have a blast building from the bottom up in College Football 25's Dynasty mode.
1. Coastal Carolina Chanticleers
There is a lot to like about the Chanticleers of Coastal Carolina. To start, they have multiple awesome jerseys with their color scheme of teal, black, and white, offering a lot of possibilities. They also play on a unique teal-colored field, which is pretty cool as well. You also will have two intriguing QBs to choose between: the speedy redshirt sophomore Ethan Vasko and the strong-armed graduate transfer Noah Kim from Michigan State. They currently play in the Sun Belt, but with them located just outside of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with multiple nearby valuable recruiting pipelines for you to tap into, who says you can't build them up to receive an invitation into the prestigious SEC?
2. East Carolina Pirates
If you are looking for a beautiful stadium in which to play your home games, look no further than the East Carolina Pirates. The Dowdy-Fickelen Stadium is beautiful and one of the country's best non-power five home fields. East Carolina also has a great color scheme, which offers some great jerseys in purple, black, and white. The university is located in Greenville, North Carolina, which will offer multiple nearby recruiting pipelines to allow you to compete in the American Conference early and potentially move into a larger conference like the SEC or Big 10.
3. Kennesaw State Owls
The Kennesaw State Owls are new to the FBS, with the 2024 season set to be their first season making the jump from the FCS. So, this is the perfect option if you are looking for a clean slate program. There are no teams to be compared to; this is truly a "started from the bottom" program. They are joining Conference USA, so there will be a real opportunity to win a conference championship early. Kennesaw State is located in Kennesaw, Georgia, so multiple valuable southern state recruiting pipelines to utilize.
4. Florida International University Panthers
The Florida International University Panthers currently play in Conference USA. FIU doesn't have a proven track record of success as a football program, but it is located in a great recruiting area in Miami, Florida, to help jumpstart your rebuild, and you'll, without a doubt, look good doing it with their awesome jerseys. FIU has multiple diverse options to choose between in terms of the jerseys. With them not being scared to go outside their set color scheme to create original, out-of-the-box jersey concepts.
5. UMass Minutemen
If you want a real challenge, I have just the school for you to rebuild, the UMass Minutemen. UMass is not in a conference at the moment, so there is no conference championship to play for. The program has struggled mightily in recent years, with the school only winning six games over the last five seasons and the team has never played in an FBS bowl game. So if you are able to rebuild this program, I think you can truly say you can rebuild any program.
