Tennessee Vols basketball head coach Rick Barnes dropped a quote on the field after UT baseball's win against the Texas A&M Aggies in the deciding game of the College World Series that Volunteers fans will love.
While speaking with Full Disclosure Productions' Paige Dauer, a jubilant Barnes made it clear that he loves being a Vol.
"It's nerve-wracking," said Barnes. "You feel better when you're down [there] and a part of it, but I'm telling you what, a great night, a great night. But it's always a great night to be a Tennessee Volunteer. And you know what? Things are always better in that Tennessee orange."
Barnes made the trip to Omaha alongside Tennessee football coach Josh Heupel. The two head coaches were seated in a box along with country music superstar Morgan Wallen, Vols legend Peyton Manning, and UT athletic director Danny White.
