Two down and one more to go. The Jacksonville Jaguars really showed up in Detroit today. There were no crazy highlights like what Nathan Rourke did last week, but the Jags were able to get things done and beat the Lions 25-7

These preseason games are always ugly, but a few players really showed up for the Jaguars. Let's talk about them.

First there was Jeremiah Ledbetter. The former Lions defensive lineman must have been treating this like a revenge game or something because he was all over the place in this game. He finished the day with five tackles and a sack. Not bad at all.

On the offensive side of things, third round pick Tank Bigsby looked like the real deal out there for the Jaguars. He ran for 70 yards on 13 carries. That's 5.4 yards per carry. That's the kind of thing that you love to see.

As for the backup quarterback battle, It's hard to watch Nathan Rourke's two preseason games and not think that he has to edge out C.J. Bethard when it's all said and done. The former CFL standout just looks so sharp out there.

The Jags will play their final preseason game of the year against the Miami Dolphins next Saturday. We'll see how much more of Air Canada we'll get to see in that game.
