The Colt did lose a rookie to IR yesterday but were also able to see one of their 2023 draft selections take the field as a Colt for the 1st time.
As the team was able to finally see their 2nd round pick Juju Brents in action.
The Indiana native and CB out of Kansas State hasn't been healthy since even before the NFL Draft. As the corner also wasn't able to suit up when the Colts held their local pro day on April 13th while dealing with a wrist injury. And since training camp started, the team has also listed a hamstring issue.
During Saturday's practice, at long last, Brents was able to finally take the field for his hometown team. The team and fans got to see him fully suited up, as the team was in full pads.
The Colts will be taking the field once again Sunday afternoon at 2 pm Eastern time. We shall see if Brents is able to go on back-to-back days.
