Lamar Jackson went through a bit of a rocky road, but he eventually got his long-term security from the Baltimore Ravens with a five-year extension for $260 million back in April.

The former MVP now has even higher expectations on his shoulders, especially with a 1-3 playoff record as a starter. Nonetheless, he's the man in Baltimore, and that was never more clear than what happened recently.

Hip-hop superstar Drake held a concert at the Capitol One Arena in Washington D.C. this past Saturday. He brought Jackson out on stage and said this to the people in attendance.

"This is my quarterback, right here, Lamar Jackson for the Baltimore Ravens," said Drake.

Talked about an endorsement.

Jackson is entering his sixth season with the Ravens. The last two have been a struggle on the injury front as Jackson has missed a total of 10 games with ankle and knee injuries.

Baltimore invested heavily in getting Jackson the proper weapons by adding wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Nelson Agholor in free agency and drafting Zay Flowers. Mix in tight end Mark Andrews and receiver Rashod Bateman, and it's the best array of talent that Jackson has had throughout his career.

The only thing for Jackson to do now is to continue building chemistry with his weapons and to stay healthy before the season kicks off.
