USFL TE LaMichael Pettway in for a workout with the Colts

On Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reported that the Colts worked out TE La'Michael Pettway of the Birmingham Stallions.

La'Michael Pettway, a WR in college, played most of his college ball at Arkansas before transferring to Iowa State for his final season. Here are some of his stats from college: 

  • 2016 Arkansas: 1 reception, 10 yards, one touchdown
  • 2017 Arkansas: 6 receptions, 92 yards
  • 2018 Arkansas: 30 receptions, 499 yards, four touchdowns
  • 2019 Iowas State: 55 receptions, 676 yards, six touchdowns

After being away from football for three seasons, Pettway joined the USFL with the Michigan Panthers in 2022, then with the Birmingham Stallions this past season. His only full season of playing time in the USFL came in 2022 with the Michigan Panthers, where he recorded 24 receptions, 307 yards, and two touchdowns.
