It's rare that a team has everything in place to win it all. And if you ask Brian Westbrook, a Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Fame member, that team is the Eagles.
The two-time Pro Bowler sees Philly's offense as a group that can punish the Chiefs in multiple ways.
They have the ability to run the ball with the quarterback; they have the ability to run the ball with the running back, they have been able to block every front that is designed to stop the run,” said Westbrook, a member of the Eagles 75th-anniversary team.
“Then when you look at the passing game you can affect the team on all three levels – the short game, the medium game, and the deep game. They have been able to score on all three levels.”
The former Eagle was a dual threat weapon – as a runner, having two 1200-yard seasons, and as a pass catcher. He posted 600+ yard receiving seasons four times.
Westbrook also noted the strong connection between Hurts and star wideout AJ Brown, comparing them to Philadelphia legends Donovan McNabb and Terrell Owens. Lofty company if you ask me.
The Eagles have enough weapons to win the Super Bowl. It all comes down to if Hurts and company execute come Sunday.
