The Philadelphia Eagles will square off with the New York Giants next week with the winner moving on to the NFC Championship Game. It will be the third time these NFC East rivals meet this season with the Eagles sweeping the regular season series.
The Eagles’ stars, who benefitted from a much-needed week of rest and recovery, along with some preparation, took to Twitter took express their excitement for the upcoming matchup.
For what it's worth, A.J. Brown tweeted "Let's do it . Run it back!" before deleting it shortly after.
The Eagles have won 15 of the last 18 meetings between these two longtime rivals. These two last met in Week 18, though the Giants elected to rest many of its starters, with the Eagles coming away with a 22-16 win.
The Giants enter the NFC Divisional Round with plenty of momentum after a surprising road win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. The next chapter in this historic rivalry is soon to be written.
