Which makes their availability important to watch for following the Colts Thursday practice.
The Colts have multiple starters whose status for Week 7 is still in question. Hopefully, their Thursday post-practice injury report can start clarifying things. With the talented Cleveland Browns defense coming to town this week, it's crucial that the Colts are as healthy as possible. But one name in particular that I'm sure the team hopes to have back this week is starting right tackle Braden Smith, with Myles Garrett coming to town.
Thursday Injury Report:
Full Participant:
- Tony Brown
Brown returned to practice after missing Wednesday with a back issue. While Brown was a healthy scratch in Week 6, he's been a reliable special teamer for the Colts this season.
Limited Participant:
- Alec Pierce
Starting WR Alec Pierce was able to progress to a limited participant today after exclusively working with trainers on Wednesday. Pierce injured his shoulder in Week 6, which is causing the doubt about his availability for this week. His chances will look better if he's able to take the next step to be a full participant on Friday.
Did Not Practice:
- Kylen Granson
- Braden Smith
Kylen Granson still hasn't been able to practice while he is is in the NFL"s concussion protocol. And starting RT Braden Smith remains out of practice. With Myles Garrett and the talented Browns front coming to town,Smith's availability is of the upmost importance for the Cotls this week.
