With the Colts re-signing CB Kenny Moore II to a three-year deal.
The youth in the Colts CB room is very evident, and Moore II is the veteran leader of that room. He earned a three-year, $30 million contract. This makes him the highest-paid slot CB in the NFL, which feels fitting with him being one of the best in the league.
The Colts have now re-signed five of their own free agents. Moore II will slide right back into his starting role as the team's slot CB. And if they can't upgrade at CB this offseason, Moore II will likely spend time as an outside CB as well next season.
Multiple teams had an interest in signing Moore II on the open market. I've even been told that the Colts had some internal fear that the talented CB may be poached. But in the end, both the teams got what they wanted; Moore II was back with the team, and he got a deserved raise.
