Bills vs. Bucs Final Score Predictions: Can Buffalo get back in the win column after embarrassing Week 10 loss?
Our final score predictions for the Week 11 contest between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Buffalo Bills.
The Buffalo Bills are making their final preparations before hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 11 on Sunday. Both teams are looking to bounce back and get into the win column after losses in the previous week.
Our team has already discussed the main storylines on offense and defense that the Bills need to answer if they want to walk out of Orchard Park victorious. Now, it’s time for some score predictions leading up to the matchup.
A to Z Tampa Bay writer Evan Winter joined in on the fun as we both gave our thoughts on how the Week 11 matchup will play out. Without further ado, here’s what we got.
Bills 27, Bucs 24
There were discussions on whether or not the Buffalo Bills’ window for a Super Bowl has closed after an embarrassing loss to the Miami Dolphins. The team is going to be a little banged up in the contest, with quarterback Josh Allen’s top target in tight end Dalton Kincaid already ruled out. It’ll be up to guys like wide receiver Josh Palmer to step in with Kincaid’s absence.
Another exciting update is the potential elevation for newly signed wide receiver Mecole Hardman, along with fan-favorite receiver Gabe Davis, who could both provide a much-needed spark to the offense.
If Allen and running back James Cook can get going early and often in the contest, with the team not falling into a hole early on, the Bills should like their chances. Cook has been a superstar when he’s had a good game, and the team should look to utilize him in the matchup.
It’s all going to come down to Allen and the passing offense if they want to win. Miami forced Allen to throw the ball, leading to a bad performance by the reigning MVP. If there’s one thing this team has done consistently over the years, it’s bouncing back when all hope feels lost.
As for the defense, the team might be getting back rookie defensive tackle T.J. Sanders to help bolster that depleted unit. Buffalo is struggling with the defensive front right now, with defensive end Michael Hoecht and defensive tackle Ed Oliver lost for the season.
With so many injuries, the team hasn’t been able to stop the run, which is something they’ll need to key in on in the contest if they hope to walk away with a victory.
Finally, winning the turnover battle and playing good, sound, complementary football is going to go a long way for Buffalo. In the loss against the Dolphins, the team had three costly turnovers that killed drives.
The Bills won’t be able to fall behind and gift-wrap quarterback Baker Mayfield and the Bucs’ offense good field position. Finding a way to get back to winning the turnover battle is one of the keys to the game.
In my prediction, Allen and the offense drive down the field late in the game to secure the victory, with the reigning MVP putting on a clinic once again and reminding the league that he is still one of the very best at his position.

Bills 30, Bucs 24
It’s just too hard to see the Bucs containing Allen in the “gotta have it” moments and the fact the Bills get both Taron Johnson and Christian Benford this week makes me think the defense can make just enough plays to pull it out.
I simply can’t trust the Bucs against good teams until the offense finds a rhythm and the defense stops allowing big plays. Well-coached teams and elite players like Allen will find ways to shut down Baker Mayfield and Co. just enough and create explosives against the defense, which is a losing recipe for any team.
I do think it’ll be a high-scoring game, though. The Bucs’ passing attack works best against zone and the Bills run a ton of zone. Rachaad White and the run game should be good enough, too, where it takes pressure off Mayfield.
Ultimately though, the Bills make just enough plays (even in the bad weather that’s been forecasted) to beat the Bucs and send them to 6-4 on the season.
