The Kansas City Chiefs and Indianapolis Colts have released their first injury reports ahead of their Week 12 showdown at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.

As expected, the Chiefs saw a key starter return to practice from an injury on Wednesday, while two others sat out. Meanwhile, the Colts got a player back with whom Kansas City is very familiar. Here’s a breakdown of all the latest from Wednesday’s injury report.

Observations

  • Isiah Pacheco is a full participant in practice for the first time since the practice week leading up to Week 8 vs. the Washington Commanders. He wore a heavy brace on his injured knee in practice.
  • No participation for Chiefs LG Kingsley Suamataia suggests he’s no further than Phase II in the NFL’s return-to-play protocols following a concussion. He has three stages left before clearance, if that’s the case.
  • Xavier Worthy, sitting out with an ankle injury, is less than ideal. He seemed to lack that extra gear against the Broncos in Week 11, so this might be necessary maintenance to help him get right for Week 12.

Observations

  • Tyquan Lewis, one of the Colts’ key rotational edge rushers, was the lone injury-related non-participant in practice.
  • The Colts are without DT DeForest Buckner, who remains on injured reserve.
  • Former Chiefs CB Charvarius Ward (concussion), who was just designated to return from injured reserve, was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. He could well be the starter for Indianapolis opposite Sauce Gardner.
