One of the big things everyone is talking about on radio row at the Super Bowl this week is what’s going on with Maxx Crosby and if the Las Vegas Raiders are indeed trading him, where is he going to wind up? A lot of Detroit Lions fans are hoping that he could wind up here, but that seems very unlikely. Still…

Lions edge rusher Aidan Hutchinson loves the idea of teaming with Maxx Crosby

Hutchinson was asked about pairing up with Crosby on the Kay Adams show, and he loved the idea.

“It just sounds right,” Hutchinson said. “…in the event that it did happen, that would be so dangerous. Me and Maxx, have a great relationship, I’d love to play with him.”

Hutchinson went on to say that he and Crosby both have a lot of respect for each other’s game and that they see each other and text each other occasionally. So there’s a good relationship there if something like this were to happen.

But even Hutchinson knows it’s more than likely not happening

“The likelihood of him coming to Detroit is high? No, just given with the amount of guys that they have to pay. In a dream world, though, it sounds really good, and it sounds right, which I’m all for.”

So there you go. Pretty much everyone can see the near impossibility of this happening. Even the players themselves. But never say never, I suppose.
