Former Vols basketball star Grant Williams makes cameo in Hornets guard LaMelo Ball’s wild post-game interview that’s going viral
Former Tennessee Vols star Grant Williams is playing a key role for the Charlotte Hornets this season.
Former Tennessee Vols basketball star Grant Williams made a cameo in Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball’s wild post-game interview on Sunday that’s now going viral.
Williams, who is in his third season with the Hornets, wandered by Ball’s post-game interview following Charlotte’s win over the Washington Wizards. The former Vol put his towel in Ball’s hair as be walked by the post-game interview, which led to Ball dropping an F bomb.
“I got something for your ass…they want to f–k with today, huh?” said Ball. “And then they wonder why I cuss.”
Williams has seen extended playing time over the last couple of games for the Hornets with Miles Bridges and Moussa Diabaté currently serving suspensions (both players are set to return this week).
The former SEC player of the year played 26 minutes in the Hornets’ win over the Wizards. Williams played 29 minutes last Thursday in the Hornets’ loss to the Houston Rockets, scoring a season-high 20 points.
LaMelo Ball is no stranger to viral post-game interviews
Ball, who is already in his sixth season in the NBA, has had his fair share of viral post-game interviews.
The most famous one, which included several expletives, came a couple of years ago when he was asked about his favorite Thanksgiving dishes.
Definitely can’t forget about the peach cobbler.
