“Let’s go win the Super Bowl” – T.J. Parker ignites the fanbase with unforgettable first few moments as a member of the Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills got a good one when they drafted former Clemson EDGE T.J. Parker. He immediately won over the hearts of fans with his very first phone call introducing him as a member of the team. He had quite the response when talking to defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard.

The Buffalo Bills appeared to have gotten a good one when they drafted former Clemson EDGE T.J. Parker with their first official selection in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Buffalo traded down three times, out of the first round, with deals involving the Houston Texans, New England Patriots, and Tennessee Titans. Fortunately, Bills Mafia wouldn’t have to wait long to hear the team’s first selection in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Instead of going linebacker or defensive tackle, Buffalo looked to beef up the outside of the defensive line. You can read our grade of the pick here.

Parker immediately won over the hearts of Bills Mafia and may have become more of a fan-favorite after some behind-the-scenes footage was released.

T.J. Parker seems ecstatic to be a member of the Buffalo Bills

In a video posted to the team’s official X account, the moment Parker was drafted was all documented. He had a special message when speaking to new defensive coordinator Jim Leonahrd after speaking with head coach Joe Brady, general manager Brandon Beane, and owner Terry Pegula.

“Let’s go win the Super Bowl,” Parker said to Leonhard.

This came immediately after Leonhard had opened up on his plans for Parker. Again, the nearest brick wall may not be safe after hearing the full exchange. Leonhard has big plans for Parker, and Parker has some tough work ahead of him.

Nevertheless, Buffalo beefed up the trenches and landed a player who could help them stop the run; what more could you have asked for?

He’s going to play a big part moving forward if Leonhard’s words were any indication.

“I’m excited, it’s gonna be fun, man. We’re going to build something special up here and want you to be a big part of it,” Leonhard said.

If that doesn’t fire you all the way up, I don’t know what will. Yes, it’s expected from these athletes to want to compete at the highest level. It’s just a character thing and something that you absolutely love to see. Parker seems more than ready for the challenge ahead.

And if this is the tone Parker is setting before he’s even taken a snap in Buffalo, it won’t take long for him to become a fan-favorite.

He’ll also become quite the problem for opposing offenses and a foundational piece in what the Bills are trying to build under Leonhard and Brady.
