We’ve got our first sneak peek at a pair of Miami Dolphins rookies dressed for game day
The first look at two of the Miami Dolphins’ high-opportunity rookies from the 2026 NFL Draft is here.
The Miami Dolphins’ rookie class has no shortage of players who are going to get major opportunities in 2026. Miami’s roster is going to allow young players who meet the moment and learn to be pros quickly with ample playing time.
Some position rooms are better equipped to see rookies hit the field than others. Just like some players get an edge in marketing for the position they play. And that’s where this story comes together — it’s a merging of both. Because when the invitations went out at the beginning of the month for the NFL’s Rookie Player Premiere in California, a pair of Dolphins were on the list. The event is designed to connect top rookies with top brands. That pair of Dolphins rookies were in town this weekend for the actual festivities and as a result, we got an early look at both in uniform for Miami.
First look at Miami Dolphins wide receivers Caleb Douglas and Chris Bell in-uniform
The NFL Players Rookie Premiere included both wide receivers Caleb Douglas and Chris Bell. The payoff for fans is above. And, given the state of the Miami Dolphins’ wide receiver room in 2026, we may be seeing more from these two than you would usually see from a pair of third-round rookie wide receivers.
Someone has to catch the football in South Florida. And yes, there are veteran players like Jalen Tolbert, Tutu Atwell, and Malik Washington who will have an edge for playing time thanks to their experience in the league. But Washington is the only one with any experience with offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik. And Tolbert is the only one with any experience with quarterback Malik Willis (the Senior Bowl).
Everyone is starting close enough to square one that this thing should be considered wide open. Accordingly, those with the most talent may take lead spots sooner rather than later. The Dolphins clearly something in both guys. And now, we’ve seen both guys in their game day fit, too.
