The Buffalo Bills are in decision mode with the start of the 2026 NFL season just weeks away.

And they made a key decision this week.

According to a report from ESPN, the Bills have made a decision on a key position battle.

ESPN’s Alaina Getzenberg reported on Tuesday afternoon that Buffalo has named Alec Anderson as the team’s starting left guard.

Anderson beat out Austin Corbett for the job.

The clear direction the top training camp battle has been headed with Anderson getting the job over veteran Austin Corbett.

Anderson is a former undrafted free agent who is entering his fifth season with the Bills. He’s started six games for Buffalo over the last two seasons.

Interestingly, the report from ESPN came just hours after Bills head coach Joe Brady suggested that the team wasn’t in a rush to name a winner of the starting left guard competition.
