Texas QB Arch Manning dropped a strong statement on Tennessee Vols 5-star commit David Gabriel Georges
Even Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning is amazed by Tennessee Vols 5-star commit David Gabriel Georges.
Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning was asked a question this week about his cousin, Marshall Manning, and it led to a comment about Tennessee Vols five-star commit David Gabriel Georges.
Marshall, the son of Vols legend Peyton Manning, is a freshman at Baylor School, and he made his high school debut last week when he came into a game for a couple of snaps in relief of starter Keegan Croucher (an Ole Miss commit).
Arch, of course, was watching the game, and he quickly noticed that Gabriel Georges, a senior at Baylor School, is a beast.
“He’s at a really good school,” said Arch of Marshall. “They’ve got a really good running back. He looks yolked. What are they feeding those guys?”
Arch is not wrong — Gabriel Georges already looks like he could be starting for an SEC school.
Arch added that he texts with Marshall, but he tries to just be the fun cousin.
“I texted him the other night — he’s a really good guy,” said Arch. “He’s really smart. He was studying for some big time class that I never took, but he’s a really good guy. I wish him all the best. I’m a cousin first before I give him much advice. He’s got a lot of advice from his dad, so I can just be the fun cousin.”
Arch will visit Neyland Stadium for the first time in his life in September when Texas visits for a matchup against Tennessee.
