The Buffalo Bills preseason is officially over. Bills Mafia watched their hometown team close out the exhibition slate with a 28-27 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, finishing a clean 3-0 and giving fans an appetizer for the regular season.

But before the Bills get there, they will have to trim the roster from 90 to 53. Everything over the last month will be accounted for. Things as recent as strong performances from rookies, training camp battles, and injuries will be taken into account. So let’s take a final swing at what we might see by Sunday evening when the 53 is due.

Gore scored a rushing TD and Wheeler scored the game-winner; both are strong practice-squad candidates if Johnson is healthy enough to keep.

Latu had a strong summer and is a high-priority practice-squad target.
