No changes to note from Wednesday’s injury report. Defensive tackles Jonathan Allen (knee) and B.J. Hill (achilles) did not participate Thursday, making Friday’s practice all the more important for both of them if they wish to play on Sunday.

Taylor said Allen would be out Wednesday for “load management,” but now he’s missed two practices with an actual injury listed. He may be in jeopardy of missing Sunday.

Allen, a free agent signing from this offseason, has seven pressures and two sacks through his first two games in a Bengals uniform. Losing him for Sunday would create a large hole in the Bengals’ defensive line next to star nose tackle Dexter Lawrence, especially if Hill can’t play. Hill hasn’t practiced since last week.

Wide receiver Andrei Iosivas (thumb) is still on the injury report as he has not yet been placed on the Reserve/Injured list. Taylor confirmed Wednesday Iosivas will miss at least four weeks after having surgery for a torn ligament in his thumb.

Rookie backup guard Gennings Dunker (knee) is the lone new addition to the Steelers’ injury report. He went limited after practicing Wednesday. He has yet to take a regular season snap.

Cornerback Jamel Dean (ankle) was back at practice, albeit in a limited capacity. Dean initially injured his ankle in Week 1 and played most of Week 2 with it.
