The Cleveland Browns keep finding ways to win in the 2026 NFL season. Cleveland moved to 4-2 after beating the Baltimore Ravens 13-10 in Week 6, and quarterback Deshaun Watson picked up his fourth come-from-behind win of the season already.

The Browns’ defense delivered a great performance against a Ravens team playing without Lamar Jackson. Once again, the offense didn’t come alive until the fourth quarter. Cleveland has struggled to move the football consistently all season, yet it keeps overcoming those issues. If the Browns can ever put things together on that side of the ball, they may become a real force to reckon with.

Cleveland mustered just 237 total yards against Baltimore, and only 144 of those yards came through the air. Still, the win has the Browns sitting in first place in the AFC North. After the game, Watson spoke about the team winning despite the struggles on offense.

“It feels good,” Watson said. “I mean, this is when we want to work out the kinks as early in the season, especially you know September, October football. Working that out so by the time we get to November, December, that’s when you really got to lock in and you can’t make those mistakes. You got to be as consistent as possible. So you know we’re still working it out.

“First time playing these teams, and we’re gonna get another opportunity to play them and other division teams, and that’s when we gotta be at our best. So this is good to you know again watch the tape, but also get the victory, like you mentioned, and it feels good to be able to do that and you know be able to learn on top of that.”

The Browns quarterback is right that still being able to stack wins while the offense sputters is a good thing. His comment holds even more weight if the offense actually gets it together later in the season. That would show Cleveland just had to work through some things early, rather than the struggles being a sign of what’s to come.

Cleveland’s offense still has plenty to clean up

Protection was an issue against Baltimore, with Watson getting sacked five times. Several of those go on Watson for holding onto the football too long, but overall the offense simply wasn’t good enough.

The Browns went 5-of-16 on third down and punted the football seven times. Watson finished the game 16-of-26 for 164 passing yards, which won’t turn many heads. However, the key was that the Browns didn’t turn the ball over at all on Sunday. In a game decided by three points, taking care of the football made the difference.

That has been the formula for Cleveland through six weeks. The defense keeps the game close, the offense avoids the big mistake, and Watson finds a way to make enough plays late. It’s working right now, but relying on fourth-quarter comebacks week after week is a tough way to live.

Browns face a busy stretch before the Week 11 bye

Next up for the Browns is the Tennessee Titans, which presents a great opportunity for Cleveland to pick up another win. From there, the Browns hit the road to face the Pittsburgh Steelers before closing out the stretch with the New Orleans Saints and Houston Texans ahead of the bye in Week 11.

It won’t be easy, especially with a division road game in Pittsburgh mixed in. Sitting at 4-2 and atop the AFC North is a spot no one had the Browns in at this point of the season, and it’s up to them to keep that going. Time will tell if the offense can catch up to the defense before November arrives.
